Easy Ways to Better Blogging

For a better blog, check your English before you post. There are two good, easy ways.

Offline

1. Paste your blog into Microsoft Word.

2. Go to the Tools menu and choose Spelling and Grammar.

3. The checker reads your blog. It stops if it thinks there is a mistake and usually gives a suggestion.

4. Change or Ignore or type in your own correction.

5. Copy and then post your better blog.

Online

1. Go to http://www.spellchecker.net/spellcheck/

2. Paste your blog into the window and click on Spell Check.

3. The checker highlights what it thinks are mistakes and usually gives a suggestion. Look at the "mistakes" then Change to or Ignore or type in your own correction.

4. Click on Grammar . Repeat step 3 for your grammar.

5. Click Finish Checking. Copy and then post your better blog.

Remember...

• Click Ignore for names and non-English words.

• Click Ignore if you think the grammar checker is wrong.
• When you finish checking, there may still be some mistakes in your blog, but you've done your part!
